Allan Myers is seeking an Asphalt Roller Operator to support milling and paving operations at US-VA-Norfolk. This role involves operating asphalt pavers, rollers, MTVs, milling machines, back hoes and skid steers, with responsibility for safe operation, routine maintenance, and upkeep of equipment.

It requires coordinating with the field manager to plan daily work, ensuring safety, productivity and on-time completion.

Qualifications

• GED / HS Diploma a plus.
• 2 yrs of equipment operating experience is a necessity.
• Related work experience is a necessity.
• Valid Driver's License required.

Responsibilities

• Operate asphalt pavers, rollers, MTVs, milling machines, back hoes and skid steers for milling and paving tasks.
• Safely operate equipment and perform non-mechanical maintenance and upkeep.
• Plan daily work with field manager and determine best method to stay safe, productive and on time.
• Perform equipment maintenance such as cleaning and greasing and checking fluid levels.
• Communicate clearly with crew to achieve daily goals.
