Job summary

GWX Construction in Oklahoma City is seeking an Asphalt Roller Operator to compact asphalt surfaces and support paving crews on private and public projects. You will follow safety protocols and help with additional tasks as needed on construction sites.

Ideal candidates have 1 year of roller experience and proficiency with heavy equipment operation, including asphalt rollers; CDL is a plus and may enhance opportunities on varied sites.

Qualifications

• 1 year roller experience.
• Solid experience with finish rolling and asphalt paving.
• Proficiency in heavy equipment operation, including operating asphalt rollers.
• CDL is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Operate a roller to compact asphalt surfaces efficiently and effectively.
• Work closely with the paving crew to ensure smooth operations on construction sites.
• Always follow safety protocols and regulations to maintain a secure work environment.
• Assist in other construction tasks as needed to support project completion.
• Assist paving and concrete crews when not operating the roller.
