Job summary

Baldwin Paving Company, Inc. is currently seeking Roller Operators, with at least three years of experience to join our team. This will be a full-time role reporting to the Site Foreman.

The Roller Operator will safely operate the roller, select the appropriate mode and pattern, and communicate with grading and paving personnel to maintain proper compacting and smoothness. This position may require night and weekend work, and includes a competitive hourly rate with bonus opportunities and

Qualifications

• At least three years of roller operator experience.
• Willingness to work nights and weekends when required.
• Ability to perform manual labor and follow instructions.

Responsibilities

• Operate the roller safely and efficiently, applying the correct mode, amplitude and frequency.
• Walk-around inspections and reporting deficiencies to Foreman.
• Coordinate with grading/paving crews to maintain smoothness and proper compaction.
• Perform end-of-day maintenance and adhere to safety rules.
