Job summary

Austin Bridge & Road is seeking an experienced Asphalt Roller Operator for our North Texas asphalt projects. The role entails safely operating a self-propelled roller to compact and smooth bituminous materials, with maintenance and adjustments as needed.

Responsibilities include daily equipment inspections, assisting with site prep, and contributing to team success. Must be safety-conscious and able to work varied shifts, including evenings and weekends in diverse weather conditions.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of experience operating asphalt equipment
• Strong commitment to jobsite safety
• Diligent in demonstrating safe work practices
• Applicants must be legally authorized to work in the United States and note that visa sponsorship is not available

Responsibilities

• Perform daily equipment maintenance and inspections
• Operate the asphalt roller safely and efficiently
• Assist paving crew with site preparation and other duties
• Participate as a team member contributing to project success
• Attend daily safety meetings and follow safety policies
• Work hours may include days, nights and weekends
• Adapt to adverse weather conditions and temperature variations
• Other duties as assigned
