Job summary

The Dolomite Group, a CRH Company, is seeking a QC tech to ensure the quality of asphalt and aggregate products across Greater Rochester and the Southern Tier. You will perform routine tests on raw materials and finished products and support customers while working both independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities include following QA plans, recording data in the test result database, driving to multiple sites with mileage reimbursement, and communicating findings clearly to internal

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Experience in quality or engineering is preferred but not required.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable automobile.
• Willingness to drive to our multiple sites across the Greater Rochester Region and Southern Tier with mileage reimbursement program.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine tests on raw materials, process components and final product to ensure specifications are met.
• Follow quality control plans or guidelines as assigned.
• Correct deviations from requirements.
• Evaluate data for deviations or trends from accepted standards.
• Maintain test result database; input data.
• Assist customers with quality related matters.
• Demonstrate strong communication skills.
