Job summary

Barriere Construction is seeking an Asphalt Project Manager in Hammond, LA to lead project operations, including safety, quality, estimating, and financial results. You will manage pre-construction, scheduling, cost reporting, and client communications to ensure on-time, on-budget delivery.

Qualifications

• High school diploma is required.
• Three (3) years minimum as a Field Engineer, estimator or related experience.
• Strong written and oral communication, problem solving and teamwork required.

Responsibilities

• Manage projects from pre-construction through final payment.
• Create and maintain accurate project schedules and communicate them to stakeholders.
• Ensure subcontracts and material purchase orders are submitted and approved.
• Review daily and weekly P&L reports for accuracy and track project quantities.
• Maintain contact with employees and stakeholders to ensure project knowledge and progress.
• Lead and mentor project staff and maintain effective relationships with owners and GCs.
