Barriere Construction Co. LLC, a CRH Company, is seeking a Field Engineer to support field and project management on assigned projects. Duties include safety, quality, estimating, and financial results.

The role emphasizes coordination with PMs, subcontractors, and owners to meet project milestones and budgets. You will assist with preconstruction planning, schedules, and monthly billing, while ensuring Substantial Completion documentation is secured.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required.
• Associates Degree in Construction Manager or related field preferred.
• Advanced: written and oral communication, problem analysis, teamwork, ability to work under pressure, interpersonal skills.
• Proficient: organizational and time management, GAAP knowledge and accounting practices.
• Basic: familiarity with word processing, spreadsheets, and database software.

Responsibilities

• Support field and project management on assigned projects.
• Assist with preconstruction planning and meetings.
• Submit subcontracts and material purchase orders; ensure approvals.
• Develop and maintain project schedules; communicate with stakeholders.
• Assist with monthly estimates and billing processes.
• Attend final inspections and secure Substantial Completion documentation.
• Maintain relationships with General Contractors, Subcontractors, and vendors.
• Support safety, quality, and estimating activities on projects.
