Job summary

Allan Myers Inc. is seeking a Quality Control-focused technician to uphold federal, state, and local standards for asphalt, concrete, and quarry products. The role performs daily QC tests, develops procedures, and coordinates with government agencies to ensure project specifications are met.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent in a scientific or engineering discipline.
• 1–2 years' experience; 3–5 years preferred.
• Knowledge of product types and government regulation applicability to quality.
• Knowledge of lab protocols.

Responsibilities

• Run daily quality control tests to ensure compliance with project specifications and regulations.
• Develop and adhere to QC procedures for asphalt, concrete and quarry operations.
• Develop asphalt and concrete mix designs per project specs.
• Coordinate QC procedures with federal, state and local agencies.
• Conduct lab experiments using established scientific protocols.
• Coordinate with plant control rooms regarding customer-specific mix designs.
• Receive and analyze technical data from external sales/tech reps about production procedures.
• Perform other duties as required.
