Job summary

Allan Myers, Inc is seeking aQuality Control Specialist for asphalt field operations. You will run daily quality control tests, develop procedures, and coordinate with federal and state agencies to ensure compliance with project specifications.

The role requires VDOT asphalt field certifications, a Nuclear Radiation Safety Certificate, and 1–2 years of experience. You will work with field managers to ensure a quality product and timely reporting to project teams.

Qualifications

• Asphalt Field Level 1 & 2 VDOT Certifications required.
• Nuclear Radiation Safety Certificate required or ability to complete within 1 week of employment.
• Minimum of 1-2 years’ experience; 3-5 years preferred.
• Knowledge of lab scientific protocols is necessary.

Responsibilities

• Runs daily quality control tests to ensure compliance with specifications and regulations.
• Develops and adheres to all quality control procedures for Asphalt Field Operations.
• Coordinates quality control procedures with government agencies.
• Conducts various Field tests using established protocols.
• Coordinates with Roller Operators and Field Managers to ensure quality.
