Job summary

Texas Materials, a CRH company, is seeking an Asphalt Plant Operator in Terrell to oversee daily asphalt production and plant operations. You will monitor plant controls, regulate material flow, and ensure safety, quality, and efficiency while coordinating with truck drivers and QC personnel.

The role requires 2–3 years of related experience, a high school diploma or GED, and adherence to OSHA safety standards. Night/weekend shifts may be required.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor plant controls to regulate material flow and asphalt production.
• Ensure production meets required quality standards and specifications.
• Perform routine inspections and maintenance on plant equipment.
• Troubleshoot and resolve operational or mechanical issues as they arise.
• Maintain accurate production and maintenance records.
• Coordinate with loader operators, truck drivers, and quality control personnel to meet daily schedules.
• Enforce and follow all company, environmental and safety regulations.
• Assist with general plant housekeeping and upkeep.
