Job summary

The Dolomite Group, a CRH Company, is seeking a skilled technician to safely diagnose, adjust, and repair plant equipment within an asphalt production facility. The role includes operating heavy equipment such as off-road haul trucks, loaders, and stock trucks, with additional training across multiple operation areas.

Requirements include a valid driver's license and a high school diploma or GED; welding, mechanical aptitude, and basic math skills are beneficial.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license required and ability to follow safety rules.
• High school diploma or GED preferred; mechanical aptitude strongly beneficial.
• Welding/torching experience is a plus; basic math skills helpful.
• Ability to read safety rules and operational documents.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, adjust, and repair plant equipment in an asphalt facility.
• Operate heavy equipment such as haul trucks and loaders.
• Perform mid-level cutting, welding, and fabrication work.
• Maintain and repair conveyors, motors, bearings, and guarding.
• Document daily inspections and communicate status to team.
• Follow OSHA and MSHA safety requirements and company policies.
