C.R. Jackson, Inc. is hiring Asphalt Plant Operators to run and maintain plants in Columbia, Woodford, and Batesburg, SC. You will ensure proper material mixing, safe equipment operation, and production stays on schedule for quality asphalt.

The role requires hands‑on maintenance, plant control handling, and adherence to safety standards; a valid driver’s license and flexibility for shifts are expected.

Competenze

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 2+ years of industrial or plant experience preferred, asphalt experience a plus.
• Strong mechanical, problem‑solving and communication skills.

Mansioni

• Operate and monitor the asphalt plant safely and efficiently.
• Start up, run, and shut down the plant as scheduled.
• Adjust controls for material flow, mix quality and temperature.
• Load asphalt trucks using computerized plant controls.
• Perform daily maintenance and clean‑up of plant equipment.
• Troubleshoot mechanical issues and perform minor repairs.
• Report equipment or safety issues promptly.
• Adhere to DOT, OSHA, and DHEC safety standards.
