Position Overview

The asphalt plant operator will repair and maintain electrical and mechanical components of a hot mix asphalt plant, and operate the plant to produce hot mix asphalt. This full-time seasonal position reports to the foreperson and is vital to ensure high-quality asphalt production. On-the-job training is provided to support professional growth. The role is from April to November, weather permitting, with overtime and some Saturdays required. Local and regional travel opportunities are available.

Requirements

• Mechanical and/or electrical experience preferred
• Candidates may include Heavy Duty Mechanics, Welders, Electricians with control experience
• Must be at least 18 years old
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
• Ability to work in all weather and environmental conditions
• Good listening skills, team player, and able to train others
