Job summary

Allan Myers is seeking an Asphalt Plant Field Manager to supervise crews, manage equipment, and coordinate material deliveries at the job site. The role requires ensuring safety, quality, and on-schedule performance while coordinating with multiple internal teams.

Responsibilities include planning manpower, overseeing daily operations, managing inventory, and leading safety-focused meetings to address hazards and drive production targets. A valid license and OSHA 10-hour are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; equivalent work experience will be considered.
• 2 years of construction experience in at least one trade (i.e., quarry or asphalt plants, excavation, pipe, concrete, or paving) is required.
• One or more years of construction supervisory experience preferred.
• OSHA 10-hour certification required.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee production schedule to meet KPIs and coordinate with Sales, Paving, Quality Control, Operations, and Transportation teams.
• Supervise hourly crew members and plan/schedule manpower and equipment as needed.
• Manage deliveries and inventory of material from suppliers and subcontractors to ensure safety, profitability, scheduling, and customer satisfaction.
• Lead daily morning huddles addressing safety concerns, production targets, and plant maintenance issues.
• Coordinate and collaborate with Field Managers, Superintendents, and customers to implement project plans.
