This safety-sensitive position requires good communication, basic mechanical skills, and the ability to work in outdoor conditions and varied weather.

Qualifications

• Willingness to travel to multiple plant locations as required.
• Strong verbal and written communication abilities.
• Ability to listen carefully and follow safety and operational directions.
• Basic mechanical aptitude to assist with maintenance tasks.
• Experience in asphalt, construction, or industrial environments is helpful but not required.

Responsibilities

• Comply with all safety protocols and wear required PPE.
• Keep plant grounds and equipment clean and organized.
• Assist with daily production activities, start-up and shutdown procedures.
• Load/unload materials and operate small equipment as assigned.
• Monitor material quality and report any irregularities to management.
• Perform routine inspections and basic maintenance on plant equipment.
• Coordinate with operators, mechanics, drivers, and supervisors to maintain smooth operations.
• Maintain accurate records of plant activities and issues.
