Job Overview

The Front End Loader Operator is responsible for the safe and efficient operation of loaders used to transport materials, feed equipment, and stockpile aggregates.

Key Responsibilities

1. Operate loaders to move bulk materials, feed conveyors, and stockpile aggregates.
2. Start and operate the loader, including shifting gears, steering, and levers.
3. Perform routine maintenance such as lubrication and fueling.
4. Operate equipment safely on rocky or uneven terrain and in harsh weather conditions.
5. Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Front End Loader Operator, preferably 1-3 years, with a focus on roads, highways, and bridges.
• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Ability to understand work instructions and communicate effectively.
• Physical ability to stand, lift 50-90 pounds regularly, and work in outdoor conditions.
• Ability to climb on/off equipment safely and work near heavy machinery.

Work Environment

Outdoor work in all weather, exposure to noise, grease, dust, and proximity to heavy equipment.
