As a Loader Operator, you will play a crucial role in our paving operations. We are looking for someone who is proficient in operating a large Loader to move and load materials in a closed environment and safely maneuver around other moving equipment. Responsibilities:

1. Maintain a clean and organized jobsite, ensuring a safe and efficient work environment.
2. Safely operate a large loader to keep production uptime.
3. Remain vigilant of surroundings and blind spots, including people, powerlines, and other equipment, to prevent accidents.
4. Dispose of materials properly and responsibly, adhering to designated disposal procedures for each piece of equipment.
5. Avoid sweeping, milling, or dumping into unauthorized areas such as yards, driveways, gutters, and travel lanes.
6. Daily waste disposal on trucks, preventing accumulation on the job site.
7. Follow proper filling procedures for the loader, including completing daily equipment inspections and reporting maintenance and repair needs to the supervisor.
8. Keep equipment clean and well-maintained, including checking fluids, hydraulics, and greasing as necessary.
9. Park equipment in designated safe areas determined by the foreman, considering the safety of the traveling public, lowboy drivers, and fuel service.
10. Assist in groundsman work and plant maintenance.
11. Assist in layout tasks as required.
12. Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

1. Two (2) years of loader operations experience within the last 4 years (preferred).
2. Physical ability to meet the demands of the job.
3. Strong teamwork skills with the ability to work collaboratively and establish positive relationships with peers.
4. Excellent written and oral communication skills.
5. Ability to multitask, prioritize, and meet deadlines.
6. Strong organizational skills to maintain efficient operations.
7. Professional and respectful demeanor, with the ability to engage employees in a team-oriented manner.
8. Satisfactory motor vehicle record (MVR) and meeting minimum company standards for driver qualification.
9. Successful completion of a criminal background check and pre-employment drug screening.

The posted salary or pay compensation ranges are approximate and dependent on applicable experience and qualifications. Upper ranges are flexible.
