Job summary

C.R. Jackson, Inc. is seeking a Ground Crew Member for our asphalt plant. You will perform hands-on tasks such as cleaning, moving materials, and assisting with maintenance to keep the plant running smoothly.

This is an outdoor, full-time position. You will work with plant operators and mechanics, use hand and power tools, follow safety rules, and be prepared to work weekends and nights when needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is preferred.
• Experience in construction or plant work is a plus.
• Able to lift 50–80 lbs and work outdoors in all weather.
• Willing to learn and follow instructions.
• Valid driver’s license with a good driving record and reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Clean and maintain plant work areas.
• Assist with loading materials and keeping the site organized.
• Help plant operators and mechanics with daily tasks.
• Use hand and power tools to complete basic labor tasks.
• Follow safety rules and wear PPE at all times.
• Be ready to work on weekends and nights when needed.
