Job summary

Kokosing Materials, Inc. is seeking a plant operator to safely run our asphalt plant and construction equipment across multiple sites in Ohio. You will be responsible for operating and maintaining equipment, monitoring production, and assisting with maintenance tasks.

The role requires flexibility for day or night shifts and geographic travel as needed. The successful candidate will possess knowledge of asphalt plants, strong attention to detail, and a commitment to safety and teamwork to keep

Qualifications

• Knowledge of asphalt plant.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Willing to work day or night shift, including weekends.
• Willing to travel.
• Capable of operating the assigned machine safely.
• Able to do a competent inspection of the equipment.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate and maintain asphalt plant and construction equipment.
• Operate track excavators, back hoes, dozers, loaders, rollers, forklifts, and other equipment.
• Perform other routine duties as directed by Foreman.
• Perform preventative maintenance to ensure equipment is properly maintained and serviced as needed.
• Monitor production levels and adjust production as needed.
• Troubleshoot and discuss production problems with co-workers and supervisors.
