Job summary

Knife River Mountain Region is hiring for Laborer roles in Missoula, MT. Responsibilities include physical tasks in all weather, handling concrete, asphalt, and gravel, and operating small engine equipment. Foreman-assigned duties apply.

CDL preferred for the license requirement, and pre-employment drug screening and background checks are conducted. Applicants should be able to work long hours with physical stamina, comply with safety procedures, and be flexible for shifts including days,

Qualifications

• Valid driver''s license (a CDL is preferred).
• Ability to bend, stoop, lift, push, pull and be on your feet for long periods of time.
• Assure all safety procedures are followed.
• Ability to work flexible shifts which include days, nights and some weekends. Some travel is required.
• Must pass a pre-employment drug screening and background check.

Responsibilities

• Perform physical tasks for long periods of time in all weather conditions
• Place, shovel and rake concrete, asphalt and gravel materials with hand tools
• Lift and carry tools and forming materials
• Run small engine equipment such as plate whackers and jumping jacks
• Other duties assigned as needed by Foreman
