Job summary

Fisher Industries, a vertically integrated family of businesses in heavy civil construction and infrastructure, seeks a Screed Operator to join our statewide projects in Arizona. The role requires operating asphalt paver screeds with attention to project specs and safety standards.

Qualifications

2+ years of Screed Operator experience.
High School Diploma or GED.
Valid driver’s license with clean motor-vehicle record.
Ability to lift 50 lbs and work outdoors in all weather.
Willing to travel statewide.
Commitment to safety and OSHA guidelines.

Responsibilities

Operate paving screeds, rollers, pavers, and associated equipment to meet project specs.
Perform pre-shift inspections on equipment prior to startup.
Maintain clear communication with paving staff, drivers and laborers.
Assist in job layout and understand how the paving will be executed.
Demonstrate strong safety awareness and comply with policies.
Operate and maintain screed machines with supervision as required.
May assist with setup/teardown of equipment and general housekeeping.
