Job summary

C.W. Roberts Contracting, Inc. (CWR) is seeking an Asphalt Paving Foreman for local Pensacola operations. The role involves coordinating the asphalt crew, supervising laborers and equipment operators, and ensuring quality and safety on site.

Applicants should have at least 2 years of paving experience, strong leadership and communication abilities, and a valid Florida driver’s license. Willingness to work varying shifts, including nights and weekends, is required.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in paving operations including equipment operation.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.
• Must have valid Florida driver's license and be able to meet MVR requirements.
• Able to work days, nights, or weekends as needed.
• Must pass drug testing and background check.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and schedule work for the asphalt crew.
• Supervise and direct asphalt laborers and equipment operators.
• Guide and develop asphalt crew members.
• Receive, prioritize, and assign daily work tasks.
• Monitor progress and provide guidance on procedures and techniques.
• Ensure safe practices and procedures are followed.

ASPHALT PAVING FOREMAN

C.W. Roberts Contracting, Inc. (CWR) is a growing road construction company. We are seeking to fill a highly skilled Asphalt Paving Foreman for our local operations.

Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities:

• Assist with the coordination and scheduling of work to be performed by the asphalt crew
• Assist with the supervision and direction of assigned asphalt laborers and equipment operators relating to the spreading, finishing and compacting of asphalt
• Provide guidance and development of all asphalt crew members
• Receive, prioritize, and assign daily work assignments
• Observe work in progress and provide guidance and direction on procedures and techniques
• Ensure safe practices and procedures are followed
• Assist with the monitoring and or coordinating the effective maintenance and repair of all assigned equipment
• Other duties as assigned

Requirements:

• At least 2 years of experience in all aspects of paving operations; to include operation of all paving equipment
• Excellent communication and leadership skills
• Must be able to work days, nights, or weekends as needed
• Able to complete all required paperwork efficiently
• Must be able to meet company MVR requirements and have a valid Florida driver's license
• Employer conducts drug testing and background check
