Job summary

C.W. Roberts Contracting, Inc. is seeking an experienced Asphalt Paving Foreman to lead local crews in pavement projects. You will coordinate scheduling, supervise laborers and operators, and ensure quality and safety standards are met on daily tasks.

The role requires strong communication, reliable leadership, and the ability to work days, nights, or weekends as needed. A valid Florida driver's license and the ability to pass background checks are expected.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of paving operations experience.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.
• Must be able to work days, nights, or weekends as needed.
• Must be able to meet MVR requirements and pass background checks.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and schedule work for the asphalt crew.
• Supervise asphalt laborers and equipment operators in spreading, finishing, and compacting.
• Provide guidance and development of all asphalt crew members.
• Receive, prioritize, and assign daily work assignments.
• Observe progress and direct procedures and techniques.
• Ensure safe practices and procedures are followed.
• Assist with maintenance and repair of all assigned equipment.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

C.W. Roberts Contracting, Inc. (CWR) is a growing road construction company. We are seeking to fill a highly skilled Asphalt Paving Foreman for our local operations.

Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities:

• Assist with the coordination and scheduling of work to be performed by the asphalt crew
• Assist with the supervision and direction of assigned asphalt laborers and equipment operators relating to the spreading, finishing and compacting of asphalt
• Provide guidance and development of all asphalt crew members
• Receive, prioritize, and assign daily work assignments
• Observe work in progress and provide guidance and direction on procedures and techniques
• Ensure safe practices and procedures are followed
• Assist with the monitoring and or coordinating the effective maintenance and repair of all assigned equipment
• Other duties as assigned

Requirements:

• At least 2 years of experience in all aspects of paving operations; to include operation of all paving equipment
• Excellent communication and leadership skills
• Must be able to work days, nights, or weekends as needed
• Able to complete all required paperwork efficiently
• Must be able to meet company MVR requirements and have a valid Florida driver’s license
• Employer conducts drug testing and background check
