Job summary

Lone Star Paving in Texas seeks a Common Laborer to join our paving crew. You will perform general labor, assist with asphalt work, and support foremen to maintain high-quality results on various projects.

The role requires physical labor, safety awareness, and teamwork. We offer full-time hours, a competitive hourly rate, and a benefits package including medical, dental, 401k, and stock purchase plan.

Qualifications

• 1 year (or under) experience in labor or general construction preferred.
• Must be organized with a detail-oriented mindset.
• Positive, friendly, and professional attitude.
• Ability to work well with others in a group or one-on-one setting.
• Commitment to safety policies and practices.

Responsibilities

• General laborer duties associated with asphalt paving, patching or prep crews.
• Shovel, rake and handle other small tools as needed.
• Equipment cleanup as required.
• May operate small power tools.
• Signal equipment operators for alignment and movement of materials.
• Assist in placing, moving and dismantling signs, barricades, cones and other traffic control devices.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
