Responsibilities

• Measure and mark surfaces for asphalt or material placement.
• Apply crack sealing material and asphalt to project surfaces.
• Operate equipment such as jackhammers, pavers, seal coating machines, crack kettles, etc.
• Assist in maintenance and repair of paving machinery.
• Keep worksite clean and organized and follow safety protocols.
• Communicate with team to ensure timely project completion.
• Occasionally operate heavy machinery like trucks and loaders.

Job Title: Paving Laborer
Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and reliable individual to join our team at US Outworkers as an Asphalt Maintenance / Paving Team Member. In this role, you will be responsible for assisting in the installation and repair of asphalt and concrete surfaces for both residential and commercial clients. The ideal candidate will have previous experience in the asphalt / construction industry and possess physical strength and endurance to carry out physically demanding tasks. As a new team member, you will work closely with our team of professionals to ensure the successful completion of various paving projects.
Key Responsibilities:

• Assisting in the preparation of worksite by removing debris, marking boundaries, and setting up necessary equipment.
• Measuring and marking surfaces for asphalt or material placement.
• Applying crack sealing material, asphalt, and other materials to project surfaces.
• Operating various equipment such as jackhammers, pavers, seal coating machines, crack kettles, etc.
• Assisting in the maintenance and repair of maintenance / paving machinery.
• Maintaining a clean and organized worksite.
• Following safety protocols and participating in safety meetings.
• Communicating effectively with fellow team members to ensure efficient project completion.
