Preferred Qualifications: Prior experience in heavy highway construction is preferred.

Job Responsibilities: You will perform a wide range of general labor duties on road construction projects, either on a heavy highway crew or a production crew. Duties include, but are not limited to: shoveling, raking, traffic control, moving materials, setting and stripping forms, pouring concrete, shoveling, vibrating, and maintaining good housekeeping and safety standards. Experience with asphalt and equipment operation is a plus.

Requirements:

• Ability to repeatedly lift up to 30 pounds, walk, stoop, squat, sit, kneel, and pass a physical examination.
• Knowledge of basic tools, their uses, and basic mathematical and measurement skills.
• Prior construction experience is preferred.
• Reliable attendance, positive attitude, and adherence to company standards.
