Preferred Materials, Inc. – Asphalt Region, part of CRH Florida Division, leads in asphalt production and roadway services. The Asphalt Plant Laborer will support plant operations, assist with material handling, and help maintain a clean, safe work area in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Capable of lifting up to 50 pounds repeatedly.
• Reliable attendance and punctuality are essential.
• Loader/backhoe experience is preferred but not required.

An Asphalt Plant Laborer will perform a wide range of general duties at an asphalt plant including but not limited to: shoveling, moving materials, and maintain good housekeeping while adhering to all safety regulations. Experience working around Asphalt and/or construction equipment is preferred.

Requirements

• Must be able to repetively lift up to 50 pounds, walk, stoop, squat, sit, kneel and be capable of passing required physical examination
• Maintain reliable attendance, meeting company standards, and maintain a positive attitude.
• Experience with loader / backhoe preferred.
