Job summary

CRH Preferred Materials - Asphalt Division, part of CRH Florida Division, is hiring an Asphalt Plant Laborer in Florida. You will perform general duties at the asphalt plant, including shoveling and moving materials, while maintaining housekeeping and following all safety regulations.

Shift differential may apply; experience with loader/backhoe is preferred and reliable attendance is essential to keep operations running smoothly and safely.

Qualifications

• Must be able to repetitively lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical tasks (walk, stoop, squat, sit, kneel).
• Experience with loader/backhoe is preferred.
• Maintain reliable attendance and positive attitude.

Responsibilities

• Perform a wide range of general duties at an asphalt plant (shoveling, moving materials).
• Maintain good housekeeping and adhere to safety regulations.

An Asphalt Plant Laborer will perform a wide range of general duties at an asphalt plant including but not limited to: shoveling, moving materials, and maintain good housekeeping while adhering to all safety regulations. Experience working around Asphalt and/or construction equipment is preferred.

Requirements

• Must be able to repetively lift up to 50 pounds, walk, stoop, squat, sit, kneel and be capable of passing required physical examination
• Maintain reliable attendance, meeting company standards, and maintain a positive attitude.
• Experience with loader / backhoe preferred.
