Job summary

Preferred Materials - Asphalt Division, a CRH Florida Company, is hiring an Asphalt Plant Laborer to support ongoing production and plant operations. The role involves shoveling, moving materials, and maintaining clean, safe work areas in a fast-paced plant environment.

Experience around asphalt or construction equipment is preferred. Candidates should be able to lift up to 50 pounds, maintain attendance, and work with a positive attitude. Shift differential may apply.

• Maintain reliable attendance, meeting company standards, and maintain a positive attitude.
• Loader / backhoe experience preferred.

An Asphalt Plant Laborer will perform a wide range of general duties at an asphalt plant including but not limited to: shoveling, moving materials, and maintain good housekeeping while adhering to all safety regulations. Experience working around Asphalt and/or construction equipment is preferred.

Requirements:

• Must be able to repetively lift up to 50 pounds, walk, stoop, squat, sit, kneel and be capable of passing required physical examination
• Maintain reliable attendance, meeting company standards, and maintain a positive attitude.
• Experience with loader / backhoe preferred.
