Job summary

Keeley Companies in Phoenix, AZ is seeking an Asphalt Laborer to join our Paving Group. You will assist with asphalt paving, patching, prep work, and sealcoating on various projects.

Candidates should have at least 1 year in construction with asphalt paving or sealcoating preferred; reliable attendance and safety focus are essential.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of experience in the construction industry, with asphalt paving and/or sealcoating experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform a variety of tasks related to asphalt paving, patching, prep work, and sealcoating, including surface preparation and material application.
• Utilize hand tools such as shovels, rakes, and other small equipment to support paving and sealcoat crews.
• Assist with the application of sealcoat, including spreading, edging, and ensuring proper coverage and a quality finish.
• Clean and maintain tools and equipment as needed.
• Operate small power tools when required.
• Safely direct equipment operators to support proper alignment, movement, and placement of materials.
• Help set up, relocate, and remove traffic control devices such as signs, barricades, and cones.
• Follow all OSHA regulations and company safety standards, maintaining strong job site awareness.
• Maintain reliable attendance and consistent communication with team members and supervisors.
