Hallman Asphalt & Sealing is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented estimator specialist to manage and grow a select few service divisions. This role combines customer service, project coordination, and sales strategy. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, the ability to manage customer relationships, and a willingness to learn industry-specific software and tools.

Key Responsibilities:

Residential Asphalt Maintenance Sales

• Manage residential asphalt maintenance proposals with the goal of expanding our customer base.
• Drive yearly sales growth through proactive outreach to new clients.
• Promote a 3-year maintenance plan to build long-term customer relationships.

Customer Communication & Representation

• Respond promptly and professionally to initial customer inquiries via phone or email.
• Schedule estimates efficiently, optimizing daily routes and notifying customers in advance.
• Confirm receipt of contracts and maintain open communication throughout the project lifecycle.
• Address customer concerns and complaints with professionalism, involving Gavin or Peter as needed.

Line Striping Division Growth

• Learn and use bidding software to support and eventually take over all line striping estimates.
• Understand the requirements for layout and restriping of commercial parking lots.
• Work toward managing all line striping bids independently within 3 years.
• Utilize Microsoft Word and Excel to support office tasks and documentation.
• Learn Google Earth Desktop for measuring driveways and parking lots for estimates and internal support.

Project Coordination

• Collaborate closely with Gavin and Peter to plan and schedule projects.
• Maintain awareness of inventory levels and coordinate equipment/tool maintenance as needed.

Qualifications:

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Self-motivated and organized with a customer-first mindset.
• Basic proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Willingness to learn bidding software and measurement tools.
• Ability to handle minor customer concerns diplomatically.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation required.
