Job summary

Sunland Asphalt & Construction, LLC. seeks an Asphalt Equipment Operator to perform a variety of tasks including operating heavy equipment and applying asphalt products on assigned projects. You will follow Foreman directions, prioritize safety, and help maintain a clean, efficient job site.

Candidates should have a high school diploma or GED (CDL preferred) and 6 months to 1 year of related experience. Strong communication and the ability to work outdoors in varying conditions are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• 6 months to 1 year related experience preferred.
• Ability to speak/read/write English preferred.
• Valid driver’s license required; CDL license preferred or may be required for some departments/divisions.

Responsibilities

• Operate heavy equipment such as trucks, rollers, pavers, and related machinery to apply asphalt as per job specifications.
• Follow Foreman/Superintendent directions for daily production and safety.
• Maintain safety, PPE compliance, and participate in safety meetings and trainings.
• Coordinate with Foreman, truck drivers, and crew to ensure safe and efficient job-site operations.
