Job summary

Sunland Asphalt & Construction, LLC in Nevada seeks an Asphalt Equipment Operator to run heavy equipment on asphalt projects, including trucks, rollers, and pavers. You will perform pre-trip inspections, maintain equipment, and work with foremen and crew to ensure production goals are met.

The role requires outdoor work in all weather, lifting up to 50 pounds, and strict adherence to safety policies. CDL is preferred and excellent communication is essential.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Operate heavy equipment (trucks, rollers, pavers, finishing machines) per job specs.
• Perform pre/post trip inspections and routine maintenance.
• Follow Foreman/Superintendent directions and production schedules.
• Maintain a clean, safe job site and coordinate with contractors and vendors.
• Report equipment problems to supervisor and shop personnel.
• Contribute to safety meetings and training sessions.
