Job summary

C.W. Roberts Contracting, Inc. is seeking an Asphalt Distributor Operator / Tack Truck Driver for our Florida operations. The role involves operating and maintaining the asphalt distributor, applying tack or prime, and ensuring the equipment runs efficiently on paving projects.

Qualified candidates have at least 2 years of experience, a valid Florida CDL Class B with tanker endorsement, and a current DOT physical. The position requires flexibility to work days, nights, or weekends as needed.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in a related role.
• Must have a valid Florida CDL Class B with tanker endorsement.
• Must have proof of current DOT physical.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oil, grease, service, and make normal operating adjustments to equipment.
• Load and unload distributor.
• Apply tack or prime correctly.
• Understand paving prep, grades, drainage, patterns, aggregate, job specs, and compaction.
