• Know Business Demands: review schedule and customer orders throughout shifts.
• Direct Loading and Delivery: guide plant operators, loaders, drivers, and trucks to the correct loads and delivery sites.
• Follow Loading Procedures: weigh trucks and print delivery tickets for loads leaving the yard.
• Report Issues: quickly escalate delivery problems to service or sales for resolution.
• Receive Customer Orders: take orders by phone, radio, or in person; advise on delivery policies; record orders.
• Determine Schedules: balance delivery times and rates; plan drivers for the next business day.
• Complete Daily Reports: document product sales, allowances, adjustments, and delivery issues.
• Additional Responsibilities: other duties as assigned.
