Job summary

Jebro Incorporated in Brandon, SD is seeking a full-time driver responsible for efficient and safe operation of a tractor-trailer to deliver asphalt cement and burner fuel to customers. You will perform pre-trip inspections, log duties, and maintain equipment while upholding safety standards.

Qualifications include a valid Class A CDL with tanker endorsement, a safety-first attitude, and the ability to work over 46 hours per week when required.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily equipment, walk around and site inspections to identify and correct any unsafe conditions and keep equipment properly maintained.
• Accurately complete daily vehicle inspection forms
• Perform daily housekeeping on truck
• Safely operate and maintain truck
• Properly load, secure & unload material
• Accurately complete load tickets where applicable
• Communicate effectively and maintain positive customer relations
• Troubleshoot and solve production-related problems and coordinate with team
• Ensure OSHA, EPA, DNR safety and environmental regulation compliance
• Performs other duties as assigned

Responsible for efficient and safe operation of tractor-trailer to safely deliver asphalt cement and burner fuel to customers.

Job Duties:

• Perform daily equipment, walk around and site inspections to identify and correct any unsafe conditions and keep equipment properly maintained.
• Accurately complete daily vehicle inspection forms
• Perform daily housekeeping on truck
• Safely operate and maintain truck
• Properly load, secure & unload material
• Accurately complete load tickets where applicable
• Communicate effectively (verbal, listening, written) and work with difficult people under high stress situations. Maintain positive customer relations and act courteous/respectful of others.
• Troubleshoot and problem solve situations/problems (material quality, equipment operation/repair, etc.). Monitor and discuss production problems with co-workers and managers/supervisors.
• Ensure OSHA, EPA, DNR, safety and environmental regulation compliance.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications:
