TK Health is seeking a Full-Time Registered Nurse (RN) to join our healthcare team serving Pitkin County in Aspen, Colorado. This position offers $50.00 per hour along with full-time benefits and the opportunity to practice nursing in a unique healthcare environment where your clinical skills and judgment are valued every day.

Correctional nursing is different from traditional bedside nursing. You'll care for a diverse patient population, work closely with an interdisciplinary healthcare team,

Qualifications

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license applicable to practice in Colorado.
• Current CPR/BLS certification or ability to obtain as required.
• Strong clinical assessment and communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively as part of an interdisciplinary healthcare team.
• Correctional healthcare experience is not required.

Responsibilities

• Assessing patients and responding to their healthcare needs.
• Administering medications and treatments as ordered.
• Performing nursing assessments and documenting patient care.
• Responding to medical emergencies and changes in patient condition.
• Assisting providers with examinations, procedures, and treatment plans.
• Providing patient education and promoting continuity of care.
• Managing chronic and acute medical conditions within the scope of nursing practice.
• Coordinating care with providers and other members of the healthcare team.
• Maintaining accurate and timely medical documentation.
• Following established clinical, safety, and security procedures.
• Performing additional nursing duties as assigned.
