Job summary

Ampcus, Inc is seeking a Programmer Analyst 2 to modernize our flagship cloud-hosted application by migrating it from a desktop to a web-based version. The ideal candidate will possess expert knowledge in Visual Studio .Net and .Net technologies including ASP.Net, C#, and SQL. You will also work closely with lead developers and guide other contractors while taking ownership of specific modules. The position is based in Hanover, VA, as a full-time opportunity.

Qualifications

• Expert knowledge in systems development and design using Visual Studio .Net.
• Experience in ASP.Net, Web Services, and web applications.
• Proficient in .Net technologies including C# and Visual Basic.

Responsibilities

• Modernize cloud hosted application from desktop to web version.
• Understand the current code for migration to the new application.
• Work closely with lead developers on module ownership.
