Cobb County School District seeks an individual to provide instructional enrichment activities for ASP students. The role involves planning and implementing engaging activities that extend the curriculum beyond the standard classroom setting.

As part of the Accountability and Research division, you will coordinate with the ASP Director and Bookkeeper, ensure plans meet safety procedures, and adhere to the ASP Salary Schedule as a key staff member of the Alternative Education Programs.

Competenze

• Bachelor Degree preferred.
• Valid Georgia Teaching Certificate preferred; CPR and First Aid certification required.
• No prior experience required.
• Oral and written communication, instructional strategies that connect the curriculum to the learners, student management, and knowledge of site safety procedures.

PRIMARY FUNCTION: Provides instructional enrichment activities for the ASP students. An enrichment activity is an activity that is not normally taught in the school.

Requirements

• Educational Level: Bachelor Degree preferred
• Certification/License Required: Valid Georgia Teaching Certificate preferred; Must be certified in CPR and First Aid
• Experience: None
• Physical Activities: Routine physical activities that are required to fulfill job responsibilities
• Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities: Oral and written communication, instructional strategies that connect the curriculum to the learners, student management, and knowledge of site safety procedures

The Board of Education and the Superintendent may accept alternatives to some of the above requirements.
