Job summary

We’re a LEGO buy-sell-trade store in Ballwin, MO seeking a dependable, people-first team member for a full-time role. You’ll be the visible face of the store, helping customers find the perfect LEGO sets and parts, hosting birthday parties, and representing us at local events.

This hands-on position offers real responsibility, on-site work, and a friendly, family-oriented environment with benefits like employee discounts and a flexible schedule.

Qualifications

• Customer-focused and friendly demeanor required.
• Experience engaging groups such as kids, parents, or PTA audiences is a plus.
• Must be organized and proactive in keeping the store tidy and running smoothly.

Responsibilities

• Host birthday parties, greet families, run build activities, and engage children.
• Set up and attend Expos, events, PTA meetings; represent the store in the community.
• Operate the sales floor; assist customers, process purchases, and upsell add-ons.
• Provide warm customer service; help shoppers find sets and minifigs.
• Keep backroom and floor organized; inventory and supplies management.
• Assist with receiving, stocking, and tracking products and store supplies.
• Support daily operations alongside the full-time team.

We're a LEGO buy-sell-trade store looking for a dependable, people-first team member to join our full-time crew. This is a hands-on role with real responsibility — you'll be a visible face of the store, helping people find just the right LEGO® set or parts, host birthday parties, represent us in the community, and keep the shop running smoothly behind the scenes.

What you'll do

• Host birthday parties — greet families, run build activities, keep kids engaged, make the experience memorable
• Setup and attend Expos, Events, PTA meetings, and other functions — display and represent the store in the community
• Work the sales floor — operate the POS, assist customers with purchases, and sell add-on items
• Customer experience — greet walk-ins, help customers find sets and minifigs, answer questions with warmth and patience
• Organization & filing — helping keep our store tidy, both in the backroom and out on the floor; inventory and supply organization, some filing.
• Inventory & supplies — assist with receiving, stocking, and tracking product and store supplies
• General store support — whatever keeps the day moving alongside the full-time team, (other duties as assigned)

What we're looking for

• Outgoing, friendly personality — comfortable speaking to a room of kids, parents, or a PTA audience (Mileage reimbursement)
• Reliable and organized; you notice what needs doing and do it
• Cares about customers and takes pride in a clean, welcoming space
• Able to lift and move product boxes (retail/backroom work)
• Available 20–40 hours/week, including weekends, especially Saturdays
