Job summary

Bricks & Minifigs Duluth is seeking a friendly Sales Associate to engage with customers, demonstrate LEGO products, and drive sales in a fast-paced retail space. You will greet shoppers, assist with product choices, handle cash transactions, and maintain an organized, safe store environment. The role emphasizes excellent communication, teamwork, and a positive customer experience. Pay is $15.00–$17.00 per hour. This is an in-person, on-site position.

Qualifications

• Experience in retail sales and customer service environments.
• Familiarity with cash handling and cashiering.
• Basic math skills including retail math and cash handling.
• Ability to perform data entry accurately using franchise software systems.
• Excellent communication skills to assist customers effectively.

• Greet customers warmly and assist them in finding LEGO® products that meet their needs
• Provide information about available products, including both LEGO® retail items, as well as additional products available through third party vendors.
• Process cash transactions accurately, handling cash drawer operations and cash management with precision, including the ability to open and close the registers daily.
• Perform product data entry for sales records, customer information, and trade-ins for the store.
• Maintain a clean, organized store environment while adhering to safety and security protocols

Skills

• Experience in retail sales and customer service environments, emphasizing experience with youth and/or families.
• Experience with familiarity in cash handling, cashiering, and cash drawer management
• Basic math skills including retail math, cash management, and 10-key typing proficiency
• Ability to perform data entry accurately and efficiently using franchise software systems
• Excellent communication skills to assist customers effectively and resolve issues promptly
