Job summary

Biogen, Inc. in Research Triangle Park (RTP) is seeking a Manufacturing Associate IV to support upstream and downstream ASO manufacturing in a cGMP facility. You will operate process equipment, follow batch records, and help ensure audit readiness in a fast-paced environment.

The role features Monday–Thursday 6 am to 4 pm with occasional Friday or after-hours support. You will document data, revise batch records, perform in-process sampling, and participate in training to grow with the team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a STEM field is required with direct experience.
• A BioWorks Certificate or related associate degree preferred with relevant experience.
• High School Diploma plus 3+ years in manufacturing acceptable for consideration.
• Prior experience in a cGMP environment is highly valued.
• Ability to follow SOPs and Good Documentation Practices (GDP) meticulously.
• Familiarity with process automation systems (e.g., LIMS) is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Execute daily manufacturing activities, operate process equipment and validate SOPs.
• Monitor upstream processes and troubleshoot equipment issues.
• Carry out ASO upstream/downstream operations in a cGMP setting per batch records.
• Document cGMP data and deviations for steps and equipment activities.
• Create/revise batch records, SLRs, and equipment logbooks.
• Perform in-process sampling and basic analyses (pH, osmolarity, etc.).
• Maintain clean, audit-ready work areas and participate in training.
