Job summary

ASC Process Systems, Inc. is seeking a welder to follow blueprints and work instructions to construct autoclave pressure vessels. You will prepare materials, cut, weld, grind and fit components according to ASME codes and company procedures, with occasional travel to customer sites.

Qualifications

• Trade school certificate required and minimum one year welding experience.
• Must pass third-party welder performance tests per ASC ASME procedures.
• Ability to communicate orally with co-workers is important.
• Regular use of hand-held and motorized tools is essential.
• Standing for extended periods is common.
• Hearing and vision within normal ranges are important.
• Lifting up to 50 lbs.
• Good manual dexterity for tools and machinery.
• Must have experience with forklift and crane.

Responsibilities

• Follow blueprints, diagrams, schematics, work instructions and verbal instructions to build autoclave pressure vessels.
• Prepare material for fabrication: measure, cut, plasma cut, saw, grind, weld various materials.
• Perform pressure vessel welding according to ASME code and ASC procedures for third-party inspection.
• Use industrial machinery and tools including saws, drills, lift devices, grinders, plasma cutter and welding equipment.
• Travel to customer sites.
• Performs other duties assigned.
