Job summary

Torrey Holistics is seeking a code-driven welder who can meet ASME Section VIII, Division 1 standards and collaborate with inspectors. You will weld to customer specs and maintain documentation, ensuring all work is inspection ready.

In person, Monday–Friday, 6:00 a.m.–2:30 p.m., based in Illinois. Proven welding ability, Mason’s weld test, and the ability to earn certifications are required. Read blueprints accurately and work with limited supervision to hit deadlines without defects.

Qualifications

• Proven welding ability demonstrated through Mason’s weld test.
• Capability to earn and maintain required production weld certifications.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints with accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Weld to customer specifications, applicable code, and industry practices.
• Run FCAW with precise back-gouging; apply GTAW/SMAW as needed.
• Maintain accurate labor records and complete project documentation on time.
• Operate safely and coordinate daily plan with supervisor and inspectors.
• Communicate with quality control and respond to customer site inspectors.
