Job summary

PALA Group, Inc. in Hammond, LA is seeking skilled ASME Vessel/API Tank Fitters to assemble and fabricate pressure vessels and tanks in accordance with ASME & API codes. The role requires strong technical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment with safety and quality as top priorities.

Typical hours are 6:00 am – 4:00 pm, 5 days a week, with a paid 30-minute lunch. Benefits include 401K, ESOP, paid holidays, and optional health, dental, and vision

Qualifications

• Reads and interprets blueprints and specifications.
• Works with vessels and tanks per ASME/API codes.
• Operates tools to fabricate components and assemble parts.

Responsibilities

• Read blueprints and specs for ASME pressure vessels and API tanks.
• Assemble components including flanges, nozzles, and fittings.
• Assist welding tasks per ASME/API standards.
• Inspect finished work for quality and code compliance.
• Maintain a clean, safe work environment.
