H. A. Phillips & Co. is seeking an experienced Welder/Fabricator to join their DeKalb, IL team. The role requires 5 years in welding, pipefitting, and fabrication, with hands-on work fabricating ASME pressure vessels.

Position offers $30 to $35/hour, overtime, 401K, BCBS health insurance, and paid time off. Proficiency in oxy/acetylene torch and welding processes is required, along with the ability to read CAD drawings and fabricate assemblies.

Qualifications

• Proficient with CAD drawings interpretation and basic Math.
• Ability to read CAD drawings and plan layouts.
• Strong work ethic and reliability are required.

Responsibilities

• Read CAD drawings and plan the layout of pressure vessel components.
• Prep and weld pressure vessel components using GMAW, FCAW, SMAW and SAW.
• Follow inspection hold points and complete time cards accurately.
• Report unsafe conditions to Lead Welder or President.
