PALA Interstate, LLC is seeking skilled ASME Vessel/API Tank Fitters to join our team in Hammond, LA. The role focuses on fitting, assembling, and fabricating pressure vessels and tanks per ASME and API codes, with strong attention to safety and quality in a fast-paced setting.

The position requires 3+ years field experience, the ability to read blueprints and drawings, and proficiency in rigging, fitting, and basic welding tasks. Equal opportunity employer.

Qualifications

• 3+ years field experience.
• Baseline audiogram.
• Drug/alcohol screen and background check.
• Rigging and flagging experience.

Responsibilities

• Read blueprints, drawings, and specifications for ASME pressure vessels and API tanks.
• Assemble and fit components, including flanges and nozzles, ensuring proper layout and fit-up.
• Weld on various materials in accordance with ASME & API codes and standards (assistance).
• Inspect completed work for quality and compliance with specifications and codes.
• Rig, fit, and load vessels onto trailers.
