• Plans sequence of work and selects tools and equipment.
• Fits, aligns, and clamps components before welding.
• Performs welding in flat, horizontal, vertical and overhead positions.
• Preheats pieces and applies filler as required.
• Inspects welds for bead size and conformance to specs.
• Prepares and cleans weld joints after completion.
