Austin Community College is seeking an ASLIT Lab Tutor (Hourly) to provide temporary assistance as needed in the Learning Lab. You will tutor students individually or in groups, organize materials, and offer feedback on progress.

Requirements include degree-related coursework or an Associate degree preferred, with small, variable weekly hours up to 19 per week. The role is on-campus in Austin, with a pay rate of $23.00 per hour.

Qualifications

  • Degree or substantial undergraduate coursework in the discipline.
  • Demonstrated competence in the subjects that will be tutored.
  • One semester related work experience for all Tutor levels.
  • Tutor I requires some college coursework; Associate degree preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Tutor students one-on-one or in groups according to priorities and goals.
  • Organize supplemental learning materials and resources.
  • Provide feedback on student progress and performance.
  • Assist with research, development, delivery, and evaluation of tutoring resources.
