Job summary

Open Sky Community Services seeks an Asleep Overnight Counselor to work with the Awake Overnight Counselor, providing support during overnight and morning hours. You may sleep during designated periods but must respond to emergencies and assist with morning routines and program needs.

The role includes implementing health-related protocols, participating in goal development, and completing required documentation.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Implement prescribed medication and health-related protocols in accordance with agency policies and applicable regulations.
• Assist in developing and implementing individualized service, support, and behavior plans.
• Complete overnight and morning responsibilities, including ensuring all checklists and documentation are completed by the end of the shift.

The Asleep Overnight Counselor works alongside the Awake Overnight Counselor to provide support during overnight and morning hours. While the Asleep Overnight Counselor may sleep during designated overnight periods, they must be available to respond in the event of an emergency or crisis and assist with morning routines and program needs.

Other Key Responsibilities

• Participate in the development and achievement of program goals and objectives.
• Implement prescribed medication and health-related protocols in accordance with agency policies and applicable regulations.
• Assist in developing and implementing individualized service, support, and behavior plans.
• Complete assigned overnight and morning responsibilities, including ensuring all required checklists and documentation are completed by the end of the shift.

Qualifications
